Welcome to Lucid Dreams

What are Lucid Dreams?:
Lucid dreams are dreams where we know we're dreaming. It usually happens in the middle of a dream when we realize we're dreaming. So, if you know you're dreaming, then you are having a lucid dream.

What is Dream Control?:
Dream control is where we have control over our dreams. Sometimes we can have control over our dreams, but not know we're dreaming. Other times we can have a lucid dream, but little or no control over it.

Who has Lucid Dreams?:
Not everyone has lucid dreams. It's just like how not everyone remembers their dreams and how not everyone dreams in color. Only some do, but most people can with a lot of practice and patience.

Why Do We Dream?:
We dream to release stress in our daily lives, to improve our problem solving, to take a short relaxing vacation or getaway, to act out our fantasies, and to see how we'd react in different situations. This goes for nightmares too. Without dreams we wouldn't get through our daily lives the way we do now.

Benefits of Lucid Dreams:
Some think by controlling our dreams, we can prevent some of these key dreams from happening, however there is far more benefit than harm when it comes to controlling your dreams. Studies show people feel much better in their daily life when facing and controlling their nightmares rather than just having them.

You can use lucid dreaming to your advantage. You can walk out of scary nightmares, practice talking to a pretty girl you like, act out fantasies, and release the stress of everyday work by relaxing on a remote beach. You can also fly and explore while exercising your imagination, which is something a lot of adults tend to lose as they grow older.
